Binoculars for eyeglasses wearers needed

Old age is catching up with me, and I have discovered that my binoculars that I have had for the past 15 years won't work well while wearing glasses. Does anyone know of a set that allows the user to wear their glasses and get a full view and not a small dot of an image? I guess like an extended eye view as in pistol scopes, but not as much? I would also like them light weight and small to carry them for hunting, not a set of big old honkin' 12 pounders.

My grandfather has some glasses that have low power binoculars built-in. Adjustable lenses on eyeglass frames. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but he uses his to watch TV because of his maccular degeneration (or some such spelling).

Not quite what I'm looking for. I'm just wanting a set of binoculars that have an extended eye relief and are of the smaller "pocket" variety.

I've been fighting this problem for forty forevers. What I've found that's best for me is the cord dealie with the neoprene ends that tie on to the earpieces. Lets the glasses hang free while I use binoculars...

My eyes are pretty bad, so I got a pair of Nikon sport at Academy. They are pretty good. The eye cuffs twist up and down. They work really well with my glasses on. They are medium sized and, I think 8 x 32. Anyway I use em alot bird watching and hunting.

I'd be blind without my glasses. I have the Tasco 7x35 wide view binocs and I just peel back the rubber eye cuffs and they work great. I've used these this way for years.

It isn't a problem you just have to get them with long eye relief ,that is about 20 mm rather than anything 15mm or under. There are many on the market.

I wear glasses all the time, too. I have a big set of Steiner 7x50 "Admiral" binoculars I bought about 10 years ago with a long eye relief - as long as one folds down the eyecups as intended. They work fine.

I also have a set of Leupold 9x25 mini-binoculars in which the eyecups telescope. Push them in, and they work fine with my glasses. (These mini-binoculars come from the days when Leica was making them for Leupold - Leupold makes their own version today. Check them out.)

I use a Pentax 8X42 binocular which I believe are in the DCF series. They have plenty of eye relief and are one of the few binoculars I've used which haven't been a problem with eyeglasses. The optics are excellent too. You may want to take a look at them.

I agree with Bottom Gun. The eye relief is l-o-n-g. The optics are very, very good. Eye cups on my DCF's are push-in, pull-out.

If you want to spend serious dollars , check out the new Swarovski 8x32 ELs. They have twist out eye cups etc. &should have all the eye relief you need with specs. My problem is astigmatism in one eye which makes for some interesting optical illusions when I take off the 'script glasses.

Swarovski 8x32 ELs? Not quite ready for the third mortgage on the house for these babys! For the life of me, I cannot see how they sell anything at these prices. Even their scopes!
