The Blade Show will be May 31-June 2 this year.
For those of you that don't know what it is, this is the largest open to the public event where you'll see the largest selection of production, custom, and antique knives/swords and related materials and products in the world. Manufacturers will have display booths, dealers will have booths and tables, organizations working to defend your rights like Knife Rights and American Knife and Tool Institute (think NRA and National Shooting Sports Foundation) will be there. Demonstrations on making knives and swords and axes, their use, and interesting lectures on all aspects of cutlery will take place.
Knife Rights will have their Knife Rights Sharper Future™ Awards breakfast honoring those who have put real time and effort into defending your right to carry a knife, what they refer to as the Second Front on the Second Amendment, and R. Lee Ermey (The Gunney) will be the speaker. Their booth and display of knives and firearms for their Ultimate Steel fund raiser will be on the floor of the hall and by buying a ticket for the drawings you become a member.
The American Knife and Tool Institute booth will be set up as well and is an important stop at the Blade Show. More of an industry organization the ATKI was the first national organization to form to work to stop Antis across the nation from trying to criminalize knife users.
