i was at a gun show recently and they body armor and on the body armor were sticker saying that federal law was going to ban body armor. so what i want to know is this true or is it them trying to get you to buy there stuff:scrutiny:

ive seen that at every gun show ive gone too.........still yet to be banned.

ive also yet to hear of any purposed federal regulations banning body armour....

i am assuming its a marketing ploy...

...maybe ill ask them to cite the specific regulations at the next gun show i go to....should make for a good time.

Only laws I see are criminal penalty enhancements, i.e.,

http://www.azleg.gov/ars/13/03116.htm

13-3116. Misconduct involving body armor; classification; definition

A. A person commits misconduct involving body armor by knowingly wearing or otherwise using body armor during the commission of any felony offense.

B. Misconduct involving body armor is a class 4 felony.

C. For purposes of this section, "body armor" means any clothing or equipment designed in whole or in part to minimize the risk of injury from a deadly weapon.

Of course, chainmail falls under this clause, or wearing a pillow strapped to your head. :)

You see a lot of paranoid craziness at gun shows. Most of it self-serving.

Now, who would have ever thunk that!!! I quit going to our local gun shows about 10 years ago. The days of finding a deal at a gun show are far and few anymore.

Besides, the beef jerky is fresher at Walmart, and I don't really have any need or desire for a Nazi knock off dagger or Pakistan Ninja Sword.
