looks like they are making efforts to fix their reputation for spotty customer service (to put it politely).

given their very competitive pricing, i hope they can right past wrongs and put this behind them. sure seemed to work well for Mr. Kassnar

I'll play devil's advocate and ask if Charles Daly has really changed their reputation. They have been promising that their new Israeli-made 1911s were only weeks away for about a year. Also, their web site crashed a few weeks ago wiping out their forum. Neither events instill much confidence.

I'm fairly certain that I've seen "Hi, my name is X, and I am a new hire at Botach and my goal is bla bla bla" more than once.

I personally experienced difficulties with Botach years ago - and have heard the same from many people online. I know where I won't shop.
