Does anyone have any ideas suggestions on what should be done to it now?

I have a Mini-14, and replaced stock, added muzzle break, and a scope mount and a scope.

Thinking about adding a flashlight and a set of the tritum sights (from Bushmaster), and a low power scope - 4x probably.....

This is a take to range and shoot, hunt coyotes, and just in case the shtf weapon - like I really need another one of those....:)

Thanks in advance....

If it were mine (and I own a number of it's cousins), I would leave it alone.

If I absolutely, positively had to accessorize, I would add an Aimpoint ML2. That is the single best additon to an AR15 I ever encountered.

Basic accuracy job. If the trigger isn't good enough, a JP enterprise trigger. Free float the barrel. There's aftermarket handguards that still keep it within DCM guidelines. Also, a narrower front sight blade. Finally, for those "fun" occasions, a red dot type sight.

It would be useful to know which variant you own. Also a idea of you want and needs you wish this rifle be able to satisfy.

That said, you own an original Armalite. You were smart enough to buy the best. You don't necessarily improve things by adding unecessary doo dads.

I bought the Armalite M15A2 - black.

Bought it because I have carried one for 13 years now and didn't own one personally - thought it would be a nice addition to the collection.

I have a few ideas for it - never had a firearm I didn't start to add something to it with in a week.....

Probably keep it plain for now and take it to the range and see how it compares with the M-16....I know it will probably shoot tighter groups, and the trigger is fine the way it is - breaks alot smoother than what I am used to.

Big thing is it doesn't rattle like the one I carry....:)
