A customer sold me this old box of Winchester 45 Colt ammo pretty cheap. I'll probably never shoot it, but I am curious as to how old it is. I'm thinking its from the mid 70's. Anybody know for sure when Winchester sold boxes that looked like this one? Thanks!

The packaging looks like 60s or 70s to me (maybe later with the "keep out of reach of children warning"). I would shoot it, it has no collector value.

Save it! you may get a pistol for it.

I gave away an lot of obscure ammo I had forever. The next week a man that owed me some money offered to pay off the loan with like new rifle of that caliber I gave away. Such is my luck!

I've got a box of 30 carbine in that same box. I got it with some other stuff after a guy I knew died. The stuff it came with had early 70's dates.

Mid 70's. Should be fine. I have been using these for years. Found a bunch at an estate sale.

The actual bullets look like they are from about 1875. Yee Haw!! LOL You gotta wonder how old those molds must be.
