Hello everyone I am so glad to "be a part of" after having become so engrossed in a .22lr snub-nose conversation.
As soon as I received a green light to register as a member I of course got a Daddy Do list which even included the darn dog.
Here I am several hours later wanting to at least break some ice before I retire at 11:15pm.

As far as activities this week I rode my motorcycle a few times, went to the county Sheriffs shooting range for a couple of hours and got to use my longer range rifles which was phenomenal as there are no ranges in the area of Florida I am from. Just a couple of 100 feet, not 100 yards here...feet!

We live near the ocean and I go in regularly, aerobics due to age and the accumulated injuries I need to loosen up regularly. Also we have coral areas which will blow minds of those who haven't spent time with some very large creatures out there. I bring visitors up in a plane (lil' Cessna) and when they see what is between the swimmers and shore there goes their bathing suits, towels, pop-ups etc. to hang out. Grilling at home is a great idea man.

Anyway, I'm carrying on like a lot of streets in our hood, One-Way. Thanks for having me, my eyes are half shut so I will touch base tomorrow. Have a 700 .30-06 to clean/wipe down, an H&R single and then some. So until then,as the kid says peace out.

Welcome to the forum!

I dont suppose that was Knight's Trail gunrange was it?
Man I wish there were independent ranges, or like in Georgia just ranges on state parkland; minimum 100 yards but you can run out and add on, bingo. Here in south florida, southeast, the only place is actually the Palm Beach Counties Sherriff Office range and it's a beaut. Last outing they allowed shooting to 300 yards which was sweet, for me anyway. A secretary keeps me posted with a monthly schedule of times and distances. I just don't go weekends.

I have to find the talk going on yesterday about.22ls's and whether you should just throw them out, you know the only good thing said was there better than nothing. I would pray for one if a couple of gangbangers were following me down a dead-end easement. Although I have to admit I thought of my .38 always getting left. And last night I carried the .38 to be honest. I had to dig out what ammo I had and my choices were old Liberty civil defense rounds made for on top of quarry (10') with 50 grains @ 1500 fps deep cavity jobs and what I loaded into my wheel gun which were federal 130 hydra's in JHP bragging extreme shock as well. I am a wheel gun man from the sixties.
