Have any of you tried one of the Braztech combo rifles? I saw one today in 410/22 and another one in 20ga/243/22. It was the compact version which is fine with me as it would fit in the mortar round ammo can on the front of my quad when taken down.

I asked the shop owner to check on getting me a 410/243/22 when he can get ahold of Braztech. I know the 20ga is cheaper to use, I just like the idea of 410 in a slug gun. Wonder if it would also accept 45 long colt?

I tried the search function but came up with only a couple of posts, so I thought I would ask the experts.

They are still making a .45Colt/.410 combo gun and you can probably get one with a .22 rimfire barrel if you look hard enough.
The .45/.410 uses choke tubes to convert the barrel from one caliber to one guage and they don't work as well as everybody had hoped, this could be why they are somewhat hard to find.

The guns are crude and cheesy looking but the are durable enough and suitable enough for the intended purpose, small game hunting and informal plinking type practice.

BrazTech guns are still offered as trade goods in the Brazilian jungle.
