Brenneke smooth bore 20 ga. slugs ?

My Rem 870 with smooth bore slug barrel w/rifle sights shoots 3" groups at 50 yds with most rifled slugs. However just when I get a nice group say two touching and one an inch away I get a flyer that will be 6"-8" out. I'm told this is caused by the wad sticking to the slug. I have read the Brenneke slugs have the wad attatched to the slug and that they are very consistant and accurate. The K.O. slugs are what i'm looking at. Anyone have any experience with these ? Any input or opinions besides get a "new" gun. -Thanks

The KO's have shot really well out of everything I have put them in. Which includes a Mossberg 535, Mossberg 500, Remington 1100 LT-20 and a Pardner Pump 12ga. I certainly wouldn't hesitate giving them a try.
