Just picked up my new toy, and in looking through the very brief "manual", there is nothing about breaking it down for cleaning. I have several ARs & am very familiar with the breed, and I am looking at the rear pin & thinking it needs to be tapped out from left to right, but before I go tap-tap-tapping, as in someone gently rapping with greasy ball peen hammer, I thought I'd ask. Too late to call Brownell's and the bolt & inner surfaces of the upper look to be coated in some cosmo-like grease. I wanted to shoot it tomorrow and would like to clean it this evening - if any of you have any experience with the retro, I'd be obliged for a heads up. I think they are DPMS related, but not sure. It damn sure needs a longer stock - feels like the LOP is 12-13" at most... I'll have to put something on it for sure.
Cheers!
George J.
