Browning Buckmark Rifles

I've got two of them.

Here are the cons as I see them:
It only comes with one magazine
you have to remove the scope to do a detailed cleaning
they are a little heavy for young kids

here's why all of that really isn't that big of a deal:
The magazine situation isn't bad, especially if you have buckmark pistols, since they use the same mags. The scope removal isn't terrible either, I use Leupold QRW rings and they maintain a zero very well. Plus the gun doesn't seem to mind running dirty, so I usually just run a boresnake after most range sessions and only take it all the way down and give it a good scrubbing every once in a while. I've got lighter .22s for the kids to use, the buckmarks are mine :D

It's very accurate, and I really like the feel of the heavy barrel; to me the gun seems very well balanced. I think the trigger is pretty darn good for a production .22 rifle. Never had any feeding or ejection problems, a couple rounds out of several thousand have failed to fire, but I don't think it was the fault of the firing pin, as all of the unfired rounds had pretty good dents in the rim.

I own a couple CZ 452s that are more accurate than the buckmark off a bench, but they aren't nearly as much fun to shoot.

Pro: Fun to shoot and can hit what it's aimed at.
Cons: Unburned powder in the face using the bulk Remmy .22 from Wally Mart.
No damage, just a little sting once in awhile.
