Browning Hi Power Factory Trigger Pullls, Model T, C, & Current Production - I just measured on 3 unaltered Browning Hi Powers with an RCBS trigger guage for your FYI information. Note the model T and C look in new condition.
Current Production High Gloss Blue target sight model 8.5 lbs.
Model C High Gloss adjustable sight model 1972 production 8.25 lbs.
Model T High Gloss fixed sight, ring hammer model 1968 production 8.25 lbs
Its interesting to note that the trigger pull hasn't changed much on hi powers over the last 45 yrs. its still with in a 1/4 lb. even with the additional safety features of a current model.
I know changing the hammer spring to a lighter CS type will bring the trigger pull down to about 4.5- 5.5 lbs.
