I need help from some of the Browning afficianados. I'm currently looking at a Belgian Browning High Power T-series in unfired condition. Comes with origianl grips, gun rug and manual. The seller wants $1000.00. Too much?

NIB unfired? That's about a $250.00 premium for it. Doesn't seem out of line to me for a "T" series.

Give how much new production Hi Powers cost and how often you see T-series in that condition...Nope, not too much.

I paid 750 for mine 2 years ago. Not NIB condition, no rug, papers etc. One mag. It is very clean though. I have seen them go for 750 up in the past year especially in the condition that you describe. Wonderful weapon. Great craftsmanship.

I sold a minty T-series with the original pouch and manual a few years ago for $900, and I wish I didn't. I'd say if you want the gun, and it's in that condition, I'd take it. You're not going to flip it instantly for much money, but if I had mine again I wouldn't take $1000 for it. They're bringing more than that at shows and auctions.

If you are a Hi-Power collector, it's probably worth it. If you want something to shoot, I'd rather have a new MK III and they sell new for less (not much though) than that.

Don't ever sell a Hi-Power.

Never say never, sometimes life forces you to do things you never would have dreamed of doing. My T-series is one of the guns I miss the most, but at least I know I didn't trick it off to buy some new hot item on the market. Mine was sacrificed in the name of good health and home.

OK - For shooters, I bought one of Cole's FN High Powers off of GB for $459.00. Mine was a MK II arsenal refinished in excellent condition. This gun is a real shooter and pure Browning. So far I've put about 700 rounds through it with flawless results. These are the recent Israeli imports.

This is second gun I've bought from Coles in the last couple of years. Great seller, accurate descriptions, and one that stands behind what they sell.

Be sure to buy lots of mags - you can never have too many HP mags.

Factory mags are more expensive, but Mecgar mags have worked great in my Belgian (and assembled in Portugal) HP's.
