Well I have read a few opinions about this particular weapon on here. I agree but free is free!!!! So in the cabinet it goes.
Would like to figure out a fix for the feeding issue for this gun. I got the gun in the original box with 2 mags.

Are there any other mags that would fit? Or maybe putting a heavier spring in the mag would help it feed better? 3 rounds is about the mox I can get to feed with out binding.

The Feeding issue is: The mags are a 6 round mag. first 3 rounds load and thumb out of the mag just fine. When you put a 4th round in the mag the bottom round sticks. It appears to be catching at the front of the round. The rounds above the 4th round become loose and you can not thumb them out with out the front of the round getting stuck on the front lip of the mag.

I have oiled the mags thinking maybe they had just been sitting to long. That did not work. I think maybe they were stored loaded for an extended period of time and have become weak.

have you disassembled the mag to check for any obstructions? sounds like the (follower?) is catching on the body of the mag once it gets compressed beyond the 3rounds. it could be a worn out follower, a bent mag, obstruction, or a weak spring.....

then again... may just be a cheap mag.

"may just be a cheap mag"
Thats what I was thinking it was. It did not really look like these mags were intended to be disasembled. No clips to remove the bottom of the mag. They have two indents on each side. I am sure I could get them apart but may not look the same when reassembled.

Incedently though. I did test fire the weapon. first 6 round fed no problem. at 10 paces I put all 6 rounds in a 4 inch circle. So it shoots good enough for free.

dont think I would trust my life to it, but if it shoots well, there is nothing wrong with practicing and just shooting for fun with it... if it breaks, you arent out anything... I would suggest something more reliable for SD though....

Heard that! I havent gotten the one I want yet but have a few that will work. .38 revolver so the wife has a chance and I prefer the pump with 18 inch barrel and a load of buck shot.

I owned the old bryco model of this gun made in .32acp. They only make them in .380 now at jimenez. My bryco fed everything I put in it.

Try emptying the mag and then carefully push the follower all the way down with a pencil or dowel. If the follower goes all the way to the depth of six rounds without sticking that means it only sticks with ammo in it.

If it goes all the way down then try a .380 round that has a shorter overall dimension. Try a hollowpoint if necessary. All my brycos like FMJ though.

Otherwise there may be a slight dent, bad seam or other imperfection that is binding with the follower.

Sounds like it shoots well regardless. I have several bryco/jennings and they all fed FMJ perfectly except my J22 would jam occasionally. No more than my ruger 22/45 though.

Just a update on the mag issue. I found that it was not a issue with the mag.
I finally out of curiosity took a Mic to the ammo I had and measured the for OAL. More than a few rounds measured a few 1000's of a inch too long. I removed these from the ammo for this gun and the feeding problems went away.
So for this gun I measure all the ammo in advance.
