My brother has a buffalo bull that is ready to butcher. He (buffallo) is corn fed and on the hoof here in N.E. Iowa.
Are there any traditionalist, buckskinners, buffallo hunters or want to be's out there that would want to take on this project? Besides the meat you will have the Head, hide, horns, guts and what not to work with etc.
I haven't seen it lately but I believe that it's wieght is approximately 1,000 lbs. That is a lot of meat and our freezers are full.
We talking about $.84 Lb, you do the math. Plus locker fees if any.
There is a Meat Locker just down the road that will process the animal for you.
I am just posting this in the interest of anyone who would like an opportunity for this type of experince from start to finish. that may have a desire to own it, eat it, Tan the hide for a buffalo robe etc. etc. I'm am not advertizing a "canned hunt". This is just an opportunity that isn't found very often for some one with this type of interest.
No flames please.
