Yes. They are the same diameter. Just follow the normal steps to find the COL for your gun. What grain bullets are they?
 
Yep. Most .400 gr. bullets are listed as .40/10mm, and there is ample data available for both calibers.

However, you won't find much safe data for 200 grain 10mm bullets when used in the .40 S&W.

180 is about the upper weight limit for the .40..

Thanks for the info. I'll be using 155gr, 165gr and 180gr bullets. As soon as I get primers, I can start this new hobby. :eek:
 
When you choose powders, I suggest using a slightly slower powder for the 180-gr bullets than you would choose for the others.

I like Bullseye or similar fast powders for up to 165-gr, but HS-6 for the 180s. But you could use a slower "180-gr" powder for any weight in 40S&W.
