Bullet type recommendations and a 380?

Bullseye will work in all the rounds you have lasted. It may not be the best choice for some of them, but If I were on a budget and could only buy one powder for those rounds, Bullseye would be high on my list.
Was just comparing my two manuals, yes I need more manuals, and it looks like W231 would be a good choice too. I'll put a list together and keep checking the LGS for one of the powders that work when I have funds.

W231 is less suitable than Bullseye for the magnums (Bullseye isn't a magnum powder either), but yes, it will work for you. HP38 has the same load data as W231 in most manuals. I think the formulations may be different but not enough to make a difference.

To make the list for powders for me to keep an eye out for the powder has to work and have load data for all the normal bullet weights for the 380 auto as well as at least work with some cast bullets for the 40 S&W, 38 spc, 357 Mag, & 45ACP. Here is the list so far in no particular order. Bullseye, W231,HP38 Unique, Ram Zip, and True Blue. It looks like Bullseye is going to fit the best all around followed by W231/HP38. I left the 44 off the list since I don't have my own 44 yet and my Brother is only having me load one particular bullet, the 180 grain JHP. I did have other powders to look for on the list like Power Pistol but they got dropped from the list when the 38/357 cast bullets threw a monkey wrench in the works for that powder.

Unique will load all your pistol cartridges, and it typically costs less than Longshot. It's not made to deliver the highest possible smoking hot magnum velocities, but it handles the mid range pretty good. Works for reduced loads in rifles, too.

For the least expensive rounds possible consider one of the fast powders like Bullseye, H-38, W231, WST, and Titewad. Only a few grains of these powders are need for plinking rounds in a .38 Spl, for example. That means one pound will load literally thousands of rounds.

Thanks all. I'll keep look out for some of these powders in the near future. Since I already did my order for this month, getting setup for the 380 is on the back burner till I get some cash for the die set and get enough brass for it to get a good start. Have to get another 9mm die set too next order. The "wack-o-die" set is getting old quick.
