I am hearing and reading mixed input regarding what bullet types are safe to use in a tube fed lever action .44 mag.

Please confirm it is safe to use flat nosed bullets, (lead topped with jacketed bottom bullets) in this rifle. They are WWB 50 rounds per box. I obviously don't want to set of a primer in the tube, but I would think the flat lead nose of these bullets are safe to use.

Thanks.

I don't know of any commercially loaded .44 Mag ammo that wouldn't be safe in a lever-actions tube magazine.

There are length limitations in revolver cylinders, and lever-action actions, that preclude any really hard pointy bullets being loaded in the caliber.
