Butler Creek stock

Has anyone ever used any of the synthetic stocks from Butler Creek that have the pillar bedding system? What were your experiences?

I cam upon one new still in factory packaging for $50 and was considering getting it.

Which rifle? Not a bad 10-22 stock for the money, but certainly better options. I wouldn't waste my money for one on anything else unless I had a gun that simply didn't have any stock at all.

It was for a Remington 700 ADL in .30-06. It looked pretty good and I've been considered a different stock so that I could free float the 22" sporter barrel in my rifle. It has the factory synthetic stock that has quite a bit of lex to it.
