I've been wanting a reasonably priced 5 round 'hunting' magazine for my AR for a while. Finally found a couple at the right price at Widener's but WOW are they a pain to unload. That 5th round goes in and there is NOT MUCH extra spring space.

Otherwise they look good. Side by side comparison with Colt 20 Rd magazine.

I'll run a few rounds through them in Pueblo in two weeks to tell you how they work.

sounds perfect. I have an ar in .221 fireball. the 20 round mag i use cant be loaded up much past five or the follower does silly things because of the short round. Will wait for your review.:D

The MagLULA loader for AR magazines is a terrific accessory that should be part of every AR shooter's kit.

These worked just fine, no hiccups of any kind. As a hunting mag, since they almost fit flush, magazine changes are a little slower--less to hang onto.

Any CProducts labeled stock on the shelves is the last of it. The CProd manufacturing equipment changed hands last year and is now ASC.

The old CProd is attempting to re-establish themselves and retool, and claim to be coming online by the end of the year with C Products Defense branded mags.

I have one for range use and it functions perfectly. No complaints at all from me. In fact, I have their 30 round versions as well and they are well made and have been flawless as well.

MagPul 5 Round Limiter – PMAG® 20, 3 Pack $13.95

The PMAG 5 Round Limiter installs in standard PMAG 20 bodies, reducing the magazine capacity to 5 rounds. Designed for sporting and hunting applications, installation of the Limiter is simple, tool-less, and requires no permanent modification of the magazine body.

NOTE: This product does not make PMAG 20 magazines legal in jurisdictions where magazines with a capacity of 20 rounds are prohibited. Consult all local, state, and federal regulations prior to usage.
