You found me out.;) The real reason that I have so many guns in a variety of calibers is that I too enjoy a variety. Different guns in different calibers also serve different purposes just because of their size, when we are talking about handguns. I started stocking up on ammo 4 years ago and haven't stopped because, as I said, it ain't gonna get cheaper.

I reload because it is a hobby of mine, and it is a good way to become a better shooter too. I don't mind reloading 38 for my pistol, then changing the load for my rifle. Some guns like a different load than another in the same caliber. Some guys think reloading is work. Not me....chris3

I actually buy what I can use or have a use for. Example is wife carries a 9mm and I carry a 45 ACP. I shoot cowboy action so I own a Colt 45 in both a SAA and a Rossi 92 lever gun. I hunt mostly in brush country so in addition to the 45 Colt rifle, I have a 45-70 lever gun and carry a 454 Casull in case I run into something not expected in the woods. I also own a 20 ga and 12 ga shotguns. So I'm loading 9mm, 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 45-70, 20 ga and 12 ga. Have owned other calibers over the years but have now only own what I use as I weeded out the safe queens and unused guns/calibers.
