Well, I was wondering if anyone that had a gun blue book could look these two guns up for me. The first one is a Savage Model 220A .410. I'm watching one on gunbroker.com and just wondered what it was worth according to the blue book. I'm not planning to buy it I just sort of liked it and wondered what it was worth.

The other one is a Remington 550-1 .22 rifle. A buddy was curious as to what this was worth.

Thanks guys.

I don't know how much that Rem. 550-1 is worth today, but my father gave me one for Christmas in 1950, when I was 13 years old.

I can not even estimate how many thousands and thousands of .22 rounds I've fired through it, but it shoots as well today as it did that long ago Christmas afternoon when I went out to the town dump and cranked off a couple hundred rounds.

If it's in good condition, just keep it clean and lightly lubricated and it'll do you, or your friend in good stead for a long, long time. ;)

(snip)> is that the same version?

Yes, and it is way overpriced already, let it go. It is not a collector item.

Plain pistol grip stock means no checkering on the wood.

You can buy a new one somewhere for less than that.
