I had been watching this Enfield no32 scope, as i am looking for one for my scopeless Enfield no4 mark1 sniper. I seen a scope mount went for around $400 a few days ago, but i allready have a repro mount from sarco on backorder.

I had been watching this scope from the start and i can't belive what it sold for!!!!!! $1913!!!!!

I mean the scope's not even in good shape, the rear eye peice has rust all over it and the lens's are dirty.

I was thinking it was worth maybe $4-500.

I got a busnell for a good price, that has a straight objective, thats looks kinda close to the orginal.

I think you could probally pay a little more and get a complete rifle, mount and scope. I think they are running around $2-3000.

E-Bay sold a sniper scope???

Oh My, the horror of it all. What is the world coming too...? :what:

Oh, and yes the price is way out of line, but that sometimes happens at auctions. I'm sure the seller is happy, and the buyer might wish he'd ask someone about it at The High Road... ;)

WW II relics are going up, up and away.

I suspect that people who are buying some of them now will regret the prices they paid.

WW I stuff isn't worth as much, despite being older and rarer. Civil War and Old West relics can even be a relative bargain, given their ages.

Leupold on an Enfield?

Come on who would do that?

I believe you said they were going up to around $600. $1900 a bit much, espeically for the shape this one is in.

Went the cheap route and got a 4x busnell straight objective. Not a leupold. But should look good, when i get my mount.

That would be the correct scope for a Canadian Long Branch No. IV Mk 1 (T) rifle. Few Long Branch snipers were made, and I have read that no more than 400 of them had the R.E.L. scope. So yes, I can believe the price.

I admit the price is somewhat shocking but then again visit the CMP auctions page for some real mind blowers.

About eleven years ago I sold an L42A1 sniper rifle complete with everything including the transport chest and sniper log for $1150.00 so,,,,,
