I bought a set of Meprolight night sights for my Walther P99. I got the front sight on fine, but the stock screw from the plastic sights does not fit into the Mepro rear sight. It screws in about 3/4 of the way and then seems to big. I don't want to force it and strip the sight. I'm at loss for what do do. I've never sent a gun in for repairs or anything of that sort. I've never bought new parts either. Do I contact Meprolight? Walther? Smith and Wesson(the importer)? Should I just try to find a new rear sight screw for the P99 and put it on myself and hope it fits?
