Here is my fledgling collection of Pocket cap and ball revolvers so far.
The first one is a Manhatten .36 Navy Series IV witha 5 inch barrel.
Next is an original Colt Pocket 1849 .31 cal. with a 5 inch barrel and an up-graded cylinder. This is a work in progress.
The gun at the bottom is a reproduction with squareback trigger guard in .31 cal.

Pretty neat to see some originals.

Mine are 2nd Generation and Signature Series.

Do you shoot yours?

Those 5 shot .36 are my favorite Colt models.
Handle like a dream. Just the right size.
I hope to own a copy, maybe a Uberti, eventually.

I'm drooling over that Manhatten .36 Navy. Very nice, thanks for sharing. I have all the 2nd and 3rd gen pocket frames and a few Italians. Would love to find a Manhatten I could afford.

The Manhattan is in shootable condition as is, nice tight lock-up and indexing. The nice thing with this gun are the extra cylinder stops which allow the cylinder to lock up between chambers allowing safe carry with all chambers loaded.
I am fixing the Colt up with new grips and cylinder in order to shoot it.
The reproduction shown is in great shape and as soon as I find some black powder I will shoot it.

I am itching to get a brass framed Remington pocket from Dixie Gun.
Midway has a nice .319 ball mold I can get for it too.

Size comparison: 1851 Navy vs 1849 Pocket

Here are the two guns together to show the size difference. The 1851 Navy is a Uberti repro.
