Use a shop vac. Nothing passes through the fan.

Bad Idea.
Nothing that can create a static spark.
Do NOT vacuum up gunpowder! Any that may make it past the bag will most likely ignite if it runs through the motor. Any static spark created in a vacuum canister could result in an explosion.
