I just ran across a new paper article that states it's illegal to carry into a doctor or dentist office in Arizona. This just irks the heck out of me, you would think the media would at least attempt to get it right, or not. I've actually read a couple of newspaper articles that have stated the same thing.

I was just in the dentist office on Monday, and as always, I was wearing. I even OC in the dentist office, they're just fine with it, and I've seen nothing in our state gun laws that state other wise.

As for my doctor, every time I'm in his office it turns into a show and tell. He literally pulls out his latest piece, and always asks to see mine. He shares the building with other doctors also, so I asked him how they feel about me carrying. I won't use the explicit language he used, but in short he just said he doesn't give a rats petunia what they think, cause this is my half of the office building, my patients can carry a bazooka into this office if they want.

Prior to one of my visits he asked me to bring a particular bolt action with me during my neck visit. So I paraded in with it cased of course, but most everyone knew it wasn't a guitar in the case. Only one person asked me about it, and all he asked me is, what was it, is it accurate, and does it recoil hard. I went in there one day with 3 handguns, why 3, cause he wanted to check them out.

I certainly hope neither my doctor or I both are not violating the law, but neither of us can find anything that says the office is a "gun free zone". As I said, the only thing I found was some newspaper articles.

I don't know about Arizona but my Dr here in Florida is a fellow ccw holder and shooting enthusiast, he knows I'm retired NYPD (1988) and a life member of NRA so he likes talking guns and wants to hear the "war stories".
