I'm going to be loading a bunch of .233 for an up coming varmit hunting trip. I've got 400 pieces of brass, all the same headstamp. I've resized, removed the primer crimp, and trimmed. But when I weigh them...they seem to be two different lots. One "lot" averages about 102 - 103 grains, whereas the other "lot" the average weight is about 92-93 grains.

Should this much weight difference be a concern?

I plan to load using 24.0 gr of AA2230C with a 55 gr FMJ.

thanks
Rob

10 grains is quite a discrepancy in case weight amongst the same brand. I would suggest you work up a load for the heavier case weight and then see how accurate that is in the lighter case weight and if there is a difference in elevation. If the accuracy is acceptable in both but the elevation is different, just load them the same and make your adjustment on the scope when switching from one to the other.

If accuracy i not acceptable with both, you might need some more brass, OR seperate loads.
