I have a K31 that is getting a deep cleaning while awaiting a scope in the mail. I gave the bolt and trigger a polishing with flitz, which made a difference. Since everything is out(gear)...should I polish the chamber?
This rifle has not given me problems, and will likely only shoot quality ammo, but I theorize that a polished chamber will clean up easier later, and also reduce problems with difficult extraction (which again hasnt happened).
Are there any downsides to polishing the chamber?
