Hi everyone, i have a pre-Model 36 flat latch Chiefs Special.
It is serial number 72210, placing it in 1955 production, per previous post.
Brand new in the box.
Opinions as to value ?

It's a cheap p.o.s. but I feel sorry for ya, so I'll give you $100.00 for it...

Considering there are used ones with bluing wear on gunbroker for $550 or so, I think yours would probably fetch at least $600 if you found a collector.

I bought one just like yours NIB at an estate sale this spring for $250.
I considered I got it for half-price.

A brand new Chiefs Special with MIM parts & the dreaded Lock has a suggested MSRP of $798 now!!
