Unlike other AR 15's, the safety selector on this Christenson Arms does not slide out after removing the detent. It will spin and slide ~3/16". It seems like it may be two pieces? This is the factory selector and is not an ambidextrous. Ideas?

Is the hammer back? I have had to remove the hammer on some, even "mil-spec", to get the rear of the trigger to drop enough to remove the safety.

Thx guys. Yes the hammer is back. The selector switch rotates 360 with ease and pulls out just far enough to see the path and stops for the detent. Hope these pics show this. Could this switch be made of two parts? I tried to put up a short video of the switch spinning. Guess I'm no good at that either. Thx for the thoughts.
