i could be totally wrong about this... but i don't think chrome lining is less accurate per se, it's just that once you chrome line a bore, you can't then do things like hand-lap it. so it's not something you want on a benchrest rifle. but if you're just looking for 3/4 MOA or so in a blaster, chrome should be fine. noveske famously has very accurate barrels that are thick chrome lined. (though, to be fair, most of their barrels are not lined) so it's not impossible.

i think the only AR barrels i have that are chrome lined are on my colt 6920, and my magpul/noveske LTD ed recce. I use stainless steel on all the others. oh, scratch that... i have a couple builds in progress using the Bravoco mid-length barrels that are lined. so i guess 4 out of more than a dozen
