A couple weeks ago I posted a question as to how the Circuit Judge was classified, pistol, shotgun, rifle or what. Well today I pulled out a wide selection of 45 LColt rounds, plus 2 1/2 -3" shot shells and headed out back. I don't think I ever got a definitive conclusion as to the classification so I have came up with my name for it, 'AWESOME - OUT OF THIS WORLD-" and anyother words that fall in that range. I have always loved my Judge but after the first round out of the Circuit Judge well lets just say CASE CLOSED. I like it enough that I took my green shotgun laser off the home defense shot gun and it now sits atop the Judge. Can't think of any thing that would be a turn off to almost anyone, good to sling it over the shoulder with #4 shot in case of snake while walking thru the woods and mix a few different loads in case of hog or other critters I don't want on property.

Pops loves his circuit judge. He got it after us sons got him a judge for his birthday. It is fun to shoot and has little recoil. Everybody who shoots it loves it, and it's plenty accurate to 50 yards. He always smiles when he gets it out, something that he hadn't done much since my brothers were killed in 2010 and 2011. I'm having trouble casting and reloading enough .45 Colt to keep up.

I just don't understand why so many hate them? Is it sort of ridiculous? Sure, it's a 5 shot revolving rifle/shotgun. Every gun doesn't have to be serious tacticool operator. My mom even likes shooting it and she hadn't shot a gun for 20 years! I just wish .45 Colt was cheaper so I didn't have to reload so much.

A subject I can relate to myself, in 97 after the loss of my firs wife I sold off my guns for no real reason. I have since returned to my collection and my new wife is what I call a Texas Yankee is now a converted Redneck girl Her birth day present wad a new light weight 38spl. Diamonds didn't hold a candle to it. If I keep shooting 45Lcolts I will setup a loaded station to cut the cost. But back to the Circuit Judge i can find nothing wrong with the gun in any way
