The NSSF alert was posted several weeks ago. Since then I have been trying to find a CC and transaction processing company that does not involve First Data. It has been quite frustrating!

If you are a member, try the National Rifle Association (NRA). They offer their own credit card through a pro-gun provider.

The NRA offer is just a credit card.

If you own a business and you want to find a company to process your card transactions it's almost impossible to not have First Data in there somewhere.

They have the market share for that by a large margin.

Firearms Friendly Credit Card Processor?

The NRA credit card is issued by First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). I got one as soon as they started issuing them. FNBO is both a credit card issuer and processor. First National Merchant Solutions (http://www.firstnationalmerchants.com/mark/) is the credit card processing arm of the company. I'd be surprised if they turned away any legitimate business customer.

Disclaimer: I work for the corporation, but not the Merchant Solutions division. I'm not soliciting anyone's business, just pointing out a potential source for a business service that doesn't necessarily require doing business with First Data.

That's good to know. I have a couple of small time business associates that were looking to dump First Data after this came out and they couldn't find many alternatives.
