Has anyone delt with this company? I am considering getting the Shooter Package for 629. I know thats high, but its the best I have seen right now. It also comes with 4 mags and a bag witch is nice. But has anyone bought from them before, and how are the AK's, canted sights? Thanks, Beau

um they usually have good customer service...shipping is a bit high. I picked up two chromed CZ-52s from them and they are just fine.

they do get bad marks for being the company that started the AK panic of 07' with frivolous rumors to increase their sales.

Other than that, they often have fairly competitive prices with good deals to be had.

Other than higher prices they are a good company. It was recently sold but nothing seemed to change.

I have noticed recently that their website has a few rumors sprinkled about to keep the panic going. That really bums me out

They'll pack in sales by lying or throwing out rumors but they have comparable prices to all other mainstream dealers.

IMO, no. I'm VERY new to the world of guns, but even at my age I can recall WASR-10s going for a mere $329 from their site when I first found out about them.

In the world of semi-auto/bannable rifles, I don't see any price as reasonable anymore. I saw so many $600+ Romanian AKs at a gun show today that I laughed my way out the door. Online dealers aren't gonna be much better.

Reputable company and good merchandise. They just changed management last month or so. I haven't dealt with them since then, but when I did it was a smooth transaction. Their website seems to get updated more frequently now. Before the new owners they used to whine about not having the time to update their site. Being in the business world that is not a reasonable excuse, but oh well, to each his own.

RP88:
Those over-priced "AKs" probably won't sell anytime soon at those prices.
And the selling might have reached its peak, as I've seen lots of them for sale.

In one fairly small gun section in a TN store, there were five lonely, unloved WASRS two weeks ago. Handled one briefly.
Apparently, so many WASR gougers don't really want their rifles to sell.

the laws of supply and demand are still at work.

Supply low, demand high, therefore price is high.

then...

supply low (for now), demand stagnating...well, might as well keep it high until supply improves, right?

until they can get a real hold on stocking them, they won't drop the prices, since they know that they'll either fly off at normal prices and be gone for awhile, or sit and sell over a long span that will be about as long as it may take to get more in stock at the rate things are still going. Now it is the virtue of patience that is really at work.
