I know that cold steel puts most of their knives through sharpness and toughness tests like slicing through free hanging rope, punching through car hoods and hacking effortlessly through slabs of meat. However, are other companies knives (SOG, Ontario, Defunct Camillus BK&T, Emerson....) capable of performing in such tests and surviving with minimal damage just like the cold steel examples?

Where can I find videos of such tests? Hopefully they are the exact same tests and not clips where some guy in blue overalls and a hockey mask purposely DESTROYS the knife.

Those are just advertising and not real "tests". The other companies don't bother with such drama and conduct boring tests that provide real data.

As to finding video of "testing", the valuable ones don't do video. Just plain boring information in print that tells you the relevant information about thickness of material being cut, number of cuts, angle of bevel, etc.
