Colorado gun control bills being challenged by Republicans

I would say once these are actual Bills (maybe they already are) you need to find out the Bill #'s and push CO residents to write their representatives in both the State Senate and House. Maybe with enough feedback the House members will yield.

Maybe someone smarter than I can determine the right points to make to these House members (which seem to be the weak spot in getting the anti-gun laws repealed).

My understanding is the bills will make it through the Senate, which is Republican controlled, but HB1009 (repeal of the 15 round magazine limit) and the bill repealing the universal background check probably won't even make it out of committee, where they've been sent, on the House side (Dem's control).

Certainly keeping the fires burning under our representatives, no matter which side of the aisle they sit on is a good idea. Stay vocal. Stay involved. CCW

Watching and waiting and remembering that it took something like 5 tries to get our shall-issue CCW law passed in our shifting state. I think constant reminders that the switch of control was largely due to gun rights issues (at least that's the way I see it).

If it were me I wouldn't be watching and waiting I'd be all over the place trying to get friends/family/sportsman to contact their House representatives ASAP as well as the members of the House committee to allow it through to be voted on by the House.

You won't get your Rights back by kickin' your feet up and seeing if the people who took your Rights away are gonna change their minds out of the blue without some pressure from their constituents.

Ryan, some of us fought this before and continue to do so!
Dan
I know you guys poured a lot of time and energy into trying to stop this initially, but this seems to be a shot at winning, I just hope you guys haven't lost that fierce determination to get the job done. Just going by what I've read here, I haven't seen any action plan to spread the word or get involved this time around.

It's not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep fighting.

Good luck. :)
