Our elected representatives now feel that it "is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety" to charge you a $15 fee for the privilege of an NICS check.

Politicians make me sick. All of them. :barf: :fire: :banghead: :cuss:

Colorado Senate Bill 07-109

Vote them out, vote them out, vote them out...

...and send them a "snail" mail expressing your disgust.

Worked for me here in ssssodern Neffada.

By the way, this is what happens when you "teach Republicans a lesson" by letting them lose their jobs to Democrats.

The Dems start bending us over their first few weeks in power. :cuss:

Damn, James, looks like I convinced you to come to Colorado just in time for California to catch up with you. Sorry. :(

"large municipalities" is code for Denver.

Actually, the bill states "population exceeding 100,000". I'm pretty sure that includes most of the Front Range - from Fort Collins to Pueblo.

Yeah, but its Denver that WANTS to ban CCW ... been trying to do it for some time now ... they have their panties in a twist because the state supreme court said they couldn't.

And, guess where Judd is from....

You got it, central Denver. This is another nit-picking legislation, effecting non-permit holders, who, under state statute, can carry a loaded handgun in the passenger compartment without a CCW. The Dem's are picking away at the wall seam by seam.

Zund's right, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.......

yup...

With that other idiot bill to maintain public records of all permit holders, they'll either have them registered or illegal to transport, through the state on Interstate highways...North-South = I-25
East -West = I-70
...straight through frackin' Denver... 011.gif
