Colt Combat Elite 1911

Today I bought a Colt Combat Elite 1911. How did I do on my purchase: It is a brand new in box Colt Combat Elite (08011XSE). The total I paid was $920 and that is after taxes, fees, etc. Was that a fair price?

As far as magazines, what do you recommend? Thanks.

That's an incredibly good price. I haven't seen a plain-jane 1991A1 for less than $1050 around here in quite some time.

Nice score! For mags - Checkmate makes Colt factory mags, and it's hard to go wrong with Wilson Combat, Chip McCormick or Tripp Research mags. My Wiley Clapp Gov't has yet to fail with any of those mags.
