I have a Colt Mustang with the Nickel finish. I think it's called the Colt-Guard finish. After years of middle of the back carry, sweat has removed the coating from the right side of the grip frame. (I'm a lefty) The gun works fine but I would like to have it replated or better yet, a new propreitary finish applied like Robar, that self lubricates as well as protects.

This gun has never jammed or failed to fire for me, and while it is only a .380, it is accurate as can be. I want to treat it well.

How about a few recommendations from you guys and gals as to who and where to send it to? Tell me who's done a great job for you. What finish do you recommend for minimum maintanence and longlasting dependability. Pretty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think the gun is beautiful. ANY finish would be acceptable as far as appearence if it will protect the gun for another 15 years or so with a lot of carry. What's best for a tough little BUG, and sometimes primary CCW.

Thanks for your ideas.
