Got my 686 back from the gunsmith (recrowning) on Wednesday. Then I went and picked up my 637 today (you know, couldn't take it home the same day because that might cause me to go on a shooting rampage in an elementary school playground or something...but I digress). I fitted them both with some beautiful Ahrends cocobolo grips that I order a while back. I know some folks think the round butt grips are too small for a 4" barrel, but I like it. Kinda has the feel of the old Colt Lightning (or the relatively new Thunderer) with the bird's head grips. Can't wait to take them to the range tomorrow!
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to post pics of our full/medium sized handguns and their diminutive counterparts (my entries are attached). I'm sorta new here, so if this idea has been done to death please forgive...and the Mods can feel free to kill the thread immeadiately.
Otherwise, I look forward to seeing your G17/G26 pics, Python/Det Spec pics, P220/P239 pics, Colt Commander/Mustang pics, etc, etc, ad naseum.
