Good day gentlemen.

I was hoping to get a comparison of the various manufacturers of ARs chambered in 9mm. I was considering, primarily, the Bushmaster and Olympic arms 9mm ARs. How reliable is the bushmaster 9mm carbon 15? How durable is it? How does it compare to the Olympic 9mm AR (specifically the one accepting glock mags)? Which model is more reliable? How reliable are 9mm ARs in general? Does either model have trouble with hollowpoints? Are there models i'm overlooking that I shouldn't be?

Now, before you implore this poor newb to use the search function (which may be a fair criticism) know that I have looked over a number of threads on the subject already, but I couldn't find direct information on the reliability of the bushmaster 9mm AR. Any links to previous threads about the issue would be very much appreciated.

Also before you tell me to just get a .223, please know that I understand the superiority of the .223 round, but for my purposes (mostly plinking, and home defense should it ever be necessary) the cost of .223 ammunition just isn't worth the benefit at this point.

Thanks so much!
