I have the Kramer undershirt holster. It works in the sense that you have a gun and it is concealed. I have carried both a Glock 26 and a snubbie there. There are some negatives:
1. very slow draw
2. must wear darker, looser shirts
3. it's hotter
4. if you are surrounded by hug bunnies, they'll find it.
I find with ankle holsters that almost inevitably you will forget and sit so that your pants ride up and someone will see it.
I have pocket holsters for a kel tec p32 and the snubbie. The snubbie is really a little heavy. You can have heavier pockets sewn into your pants and that helps.

Yeh...And the Kangaroo carry looks a bit hard on chest hairs too. Not that I have much, but my wife likes what I have...

I've never worn one of these things but if I did I'd wear it over my tee shirt, not on my bare chest. I bet that would help with the comfort aspect.
Pocket carry is always an option, but not one of my favorite CCW techniques. Just doesn't work well for me but I know others really like it.

I'm in the same situation and dress similar for work as an investment advisor. I've been using the Smart Carry rig to carry my Kimber Ultra CDP 1911 for about a year and have been very pleased with results.
There are occassions, though, that I will use a Galco daytimer for off body carry. You have to be extremely careful with this method though - I read of a guy that left his daytimer on the top of the toilet in the restroom. His boss, also a ccw holder, picked it up and gave him a good talking to.

For me, I will probably have to go with a Smart Carry or the Kangaroo Carry.
The Smart Carry seems good, but doesn't the gun ride up a bit out of its holster when you sit down? It seems fine when you're standing up, but when you sit down won't either the grip dig into your stomach, or the gun causes the material to the left of your zipper to print the gun?

I would stay away from velcro as much as possible. If bumped or if you stretch it can let go...As good as that stuff is it still cannot compete with positive fasteners like buckles or belt loops.

Small Kel-Tec in a pocket holster like a DeSantis Nemesis. I've carried KTs for years and when not wearing jeans with a big watch pocket the pocket holster works fine. These are 24/7 guns that will go anywhere in any clothes. No jacket needed. Most guns are too heavy and sag pockets and really tend to print out.
Most holsters are likely to draw attention eventually...among people who see you every day.
Much of the carry lore comes from cops but their concealment needs are nowhere near as pressing as ordinary folks.
The KT in a pocket holster will work all day, every day.
