Self-explanatory...

But the only question is - my local mall is what I had in mind, BUT I couldn't care less if they weren't posted...I have enough "bad will" built up with them that I wouldn't shop there again anyway! :steamed:

The only thing is, SOMEtimes my loved ones go there - but not very often... :(

So, I wanted input from fellow THR members - should we all pick one mall, or a few, and "gang up" on them?

Should we ALL contact at least our local malls? I'm gonna do the local one anyway, see if anyone there remembers me and see what their reaction is when I point out that we now have irrefutable PROOF that "bad guys" ignore "no guns" signs.

It may not be necessary depending on where you live. For example, here in FLORIDA my beloved GUNSHINE State, the rule of law says this about ccw on private property (unless you WORK there):

Where listed by property as ccw being forbidden it works like this: If you enter said property armed and are detected you may be asked to leave the property. If you return to the property still armed and are AGAIN detected, you may be arrested for trespass after warning; a misdemeanor. Based on those parameters, I'll break anybody's stupid POLICY any day of the week and twice on Sunday. OTOH there are some states where it is written in the official (not Holy) script of law that if you violate property owners policy and they notify the proper authorities you go DIRECTLY to jail and it's a tad more serious of an affair. That's one reason I hesitate to move to North Carolina.

Yeah -and as I just posted, our law is VERY vague about signage. No "30.06" regulations like Texas...

Mmmm. Still though, I used to say a "no guns" sign should read "rob me." NOW, I say it should read "rob me, and/or come in here to live out your sick, pathetic fantasy of becoming famous by killing a lot of unarmed innocent people, you sick freak!" :uhoh:

To keep the public safe, all places that attract large groups of people should be posted. This is especially true of schools and places of worship. Having signs is the best possible kind of protection because everybody does what the sign says too do. This is particulary true of speed limit signs, and they stand as a fine example of the effectiveness of having signs. :scrutiny:

Signs should be backed up with laws that prohibit prople from shooting people, and especially shooting more then one person at a time. In addition laws that prohibit criminals and mental misfits from buying guns are obviously effective because criminals and mental cases don't have guns - because to get one they must go to a licensed dealer and fill out a form. This form is also very effective because it's against the law to not tell the truth while filling one out.

There, I feel better already. Dont you to?? ;)
