James says he thinks this is the hardest class.
After the first day I think he's RIGHT!
we did Alot of classroom and 2 different drills today.
First drill: You're standing there and you get attacked. You have to get fire superiority, and then begin bounding back... then someone gets hit.
SOOOOO, you get to carry/Drag them WHILE returning fire, doing fireteam rushes, AND not doing anything to get YOU 'hit'
The first time we ran the drill we ran it till all but one of us was down (I was the 2nd to last guy left)
You haveto do MANY things.
-Always have someone shooting
-Call in on the radio
-Watch your 360
-Take care of wounded
-STAY DOWN
-Never 'pop' up to shoot at the same place 2X
-Spread load the downed guys weapons and ammo for WHEN a AR goes down.
-Communicate amoung the team
Don't worry, we got to do it over and over till we got it right.
The other drill was the same thing except we had to advance forward and 'rescue' Mr Galakanosis
THEN do everything like above, but with HIM TOO!

Edited to add: I reached my crippled up limit... James had me stop trying to drag and just work the radio and shoot.... It's a good thing too: I was hurting myself.
