I learned quite a bit about "practical" chemistry being homeschooled in my uncle's shop, even though on the surface his techniques sound like the application of an over active imagination. Compression is merely the application of force, whether that force is sporadic as with a hammer or constant with hydraulic, force is force. As I said earlier, the main advantage to hydraulic is consistency batch after batch. The advantage to using a hammer and die is you don't have to worry if the electric goes off.

There is a difference in pitch between and aircraft propeller and an air turbine rotor. Remember that one is pushing air and the other being pushed by air. For what it's worth, both my Dad and brother fly small aircraft.

Wow! I was in the mindset that Your Husband might find it interesting to share similar pursuits with other members of this forum. I thought it would be fun to compare notes and discuss commonalities. I held most all here in esteem and felt proud to be a member. This thread has become the exact opposite. A bitter embroilment appears to be its finial prose. I ask the moderator to lock and throw away the key on what should have been a learning experience bathed in lighthearted humor. Truly a shame.

Bitter embroilment? I was pointing out that while similar there are fundamental differences in the products. I am concern that my husband is starting to show OMB traits that I have good reason to be wary of but to my knowledge or intent I am not casting insults, making threats or throwing tantrums.
