Correction: Bear Poacher storyAssociated PressNEWARK, N.J. - In a Dec. 12 story about New Jersey's bear hunt, The Associated Press reported erroneously that two hunters sold two bears they killed to a butcher. The hunters delivered the bears to the butcher but did not sell them, according to Elaine Makatura, spokeswoman with the state Department of Environmental Protection. P&T Butchers Inc. of Old Bridge was charged
with two counts of possessing an untagged black bear, she said.
