Fun hypothetical question--could THR members pitch in and buy Colt? Of all the firearms makers, Colt seems to have gone the farthest astray, and I can list all sorts of guns they should be making (Woodsman, Python, Detective Spe...I'll stop). Granted, they're doing reasonably well, but Colt could do much better.

Anyone with financial aptitude know how much each THR member would have to pitch in?

If all 28,000 of us on THR pitched in some cash, we'd get pretty far I think. At least a majority share ;) Count me in for $100!

If we buy it can we change the ' I hate civies' policy?
Hell no...we are going to run it with an iron fist and treat our customers like stupid sheep. We will under produce, over price and market poorly. We will drive the cost of each item up so high due to poor marketing skills and management that each firearm will cost a fortune. Then we will convince people that they must be worth it or they wouldn't cost so much and if they question that logic we'll raise prices again. Come to think of it...sounds like we won't change anything.

If I remember correctly, the last time it was sold it went for $100,000,000. That was 10 or so years ago.

After Winchester, Colt is next.

I'm in for $89.00 but I need to be in charge of their Revolver Division: Single Action Army Production Department! ;)
