[Safety First]

I have searched for a laser, either brand for a sig p239 9m and S&W 1911 Sc and can not find one on the web for anything close to a decent price! Has anyone seen either brand advertised at a decent price for either pistol?
As always any help is appreciated.....

Not help in the way that you want I'm afraid but a note that I bought the SW1911 PD (SC with steel slide) packaged with the CT laser last year. It worked well enough but I found it more distracting than useful. I sold mine used and have seen a couple listed since. I sold mine for $175 IIRC, and have not missed it at all..

Unless the Lasermax has changed so you can adjust it, I'd get the CTC, as the odds of it lining up accurately with POI out of the box is slim. For me the whole point of having the laser is for an accurate shot when I can't see the sights -- for "close enough" that alignment errors don't matter, I can hit with instinctive shooting.

For me its much better than night sights because if its dark enough to need night sights my presbyoptia makes them such a blur its hard to tell front from rear dots -- maybe if I found some with a different color front they'd work OK.

I searched the internet for the three CT that I have.
Can't say I found a great price but I did get a few dollars off.

I've had 7 or 8 of the cheap and/or non adjustable lasers and they are a waste of money.
Don't mess with a non adjustable laser.

Sometimes you can find someone selling a CT. Many times the laser is fairly new and reasonably priced because the shooter tried the laser without understanding what they are doing and decides that they don't like it.
