Current 870P with BLUED Finish

Tell me if I'm crazy... I saw a new 870 Police, with wood stocks, 18" barrel, bead sight and BLUED finish. Not parkerized. It says "Police Magnum" on the receiver and is a current manufacture.

Now, I have other 870s, so why would I need this one? I go to that shop and see it and start thinking about it. I say, "I already have parkerized ones and don't need another...", but I am a SUCKER when it comes to 870s, for some reason.

Is this a regular production run? Is there any reason to get this? (I'm sure I sound like a drug addict needing a fix...)

I guess I just want it.

There is one blued model among the "Standard" line.

Not much of a point to it IMHO unless you are a collector. That said, some prefer the "look" of a blued gun, and, while some have complained about rust on their 870 Expresses, mine has never rusted (I wipe it down with CLP about once a month).

I just bought one, they look nice . You don't see the blued 870Ps as often as the Parkerized, IMO.
